Lwazi Hair is a South African human hair business. We sell wigs, bundles, closures and frontals to customers in every province, and we have a physical store you are welcome to walk into at Dragon City Mall, Park Drive, Fordsburg, Johannesburg.

We ship to all nine provinces

Being based in Johannesburg does not make us a Johannesburg-only shop. Whether you are in Cape Town, Durban, Gqeberha, Bloemfontein, Polokwane, Mbombela, Kimberley, Mahikeng or anywhere in between, you order the same way and you get the same hair. Standard delivery is free on orders over R770, and every order is couriered and tracked.

If you are in or near Johannesburg and would rather see the hair in person before you buy, come to the store. If you are not, you are not at any disadvantage — most of our customers never set foot in Dragon City, and they get exactly what they ordered.

What we actually sell

Everything we stock is 100% human hair. We do not mix in synthetic and we do not describe a unit as something it is not.

• Brazilian — Grade 13A in straight, water wave, deep wave and jerry curl. Holds a curl well, takes colour and heat, good everyday value.
• Peruvian — our widest range, single drawn and double drawn, from 8-inch bobs to 30 inches. Light on the head but visually thick.
• Vietnamese — raw, double drawn, our most premium tier. Costs more and lasts longer.
• Bundles, closures and frontals — for anyone who prefers to build or finish their own unit.

Single drawn, double drawn, and why it matters

Double drawn hair has the shorter strands removed, so the weft stays as thick at the ends as it is at the root. It is the difference between a wig that looks full all the way down and one that goes thin and straggly at the tips after a few months. Double drawn costs more for a reason, and we label which is which so you can decide what you are paying for.

If you cannot find exactly what you want ready-made, you can specify it — origin, texture, length, closure type, colour and customisation — and we build it. Pricing updates as you choose, so there are no surprises at checkout.
